The Breaston May Day Gala is held on May Day Bank Holiday Monday. It's a great day out for all the family. There's plenty to do and see, races for the children, a dog show, food stalls, amusements and much much more.

Entrance is free. Programmes cost £1 and are entered into a prize draw - with £100 in cash as first prize!

Update for 2012

Well, the weather wasn't as bad as forecast (thanks to Lucy Kite!). Loads of people turned up and had a really great time. The Royal Bonsall Horse Trials were a great hit, as were the Boys & Girls Brigade Band and the Breaston Highlanders. Stepping Stones dance group entertained us in the afternoon, after Firfield School treated us to a highly enjoyable display of Maypole Dancing. Thank you and well done to all these groups, some of whom performed in the rain and the chill wind!
